When beginning my Pitch, I had a big desire to make sure I was reflecting and reviewing all angles of my past units and my current skills and abilities. Within this FMP I want to have great focus on developing what I need to make myself a better artist. I found it difficult putting into words everything I felt important that I wanted to talk about as I feel there's a lot I have learnt about since last September. This is why I did keep coming back to add to my slides document when I thought of other skills I want to develop or have developed. When writing this pitch, I also had very little idea on what I actually wanted out of my film, so I feel those slides on audience and my project overview should've been thought about more. However in having a general approach to my storyline, actually being able to say my thoughts out loud and gain feedback gave me a much better idea on what I was trying to aim towards. I now feel a lot better about my idea and therefore the research that needs to be done. Overall I am happy with how pitch went, I feel I was in depth and properly knew and could talk confidently about my skills and ambitions for this project. Going into this pitch unsure of my idea actually was useful as I was open to the idea of anything my feedback would give me. From this I now have new ideas of a more Sci-fi element to my film, and also now know how important planning things will be for me, especially with regards to each individual element. I am happy with how my overall pitch went and will be exploring the ideas taken from this more in my research.
